ADA&C Elects New President

Dr. Kieth Manning

The Alberta Dental Association and College (ADA&C) elected Dr. Kieth Manning of Edmonton, as president for the 2010-11 term. A 1973 DDS graduate of the University of Alberta, Dr. Manning practised general dentistry for over 12 years before obtaining his masters degree in restorative and prosthetic dentistry from the University of Michigan in 1989.

He served as an associate professor in fixed prosthetics at the University of Alberta and in 1995, Dr. Manning was appointed coordinator of fixed prosthodontics at the university. He has maintained a full-time private practice in prosthodontics in Edmonton since that time.

Dr. Manning has previously served as president of the Alberta Prosthodontists Society and the Alberta Society of Dental Specialists. He is also a mentor for the Edmonton Multidisciplinary Club, the Gnathology Study Club, the Central Alberta Multidisciplinary Study Club and the Society for the Advancement of Prosthetic Dentistry of Alberta.
