QDSA recognizes Dr. Daniel Pelland

Dr. Daniel Pelland received an Honour of Merit from the Quebec Dental Surgeons' Association (QDSA), in recognition for his years of service to the association.
Executive director of the QDSA since 1997, Dr. Pelland has served the association in various capacities for over 30 years. These roles include governor of the Board of Directors, president of several committees and member of the Sogedent and Dentaide Board of Directors.
In 1999, Dr. Pelland received CDA's Distinguished Service Award. He has also been honoured by the Pierre Fauchard Academy for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of the profession.
Dr. Pelland received his Honour of Merit award, and was named a QDSA Lifetime Member, at the QDSA general assembly held in May 2010.

Daniel, il y a quelques temps, je t’avais demandé si nous pouvions se rencontrer pour discuter des besoins de soins dentiares des personnes âgées. Sauf pour une protection accidentelle, nous n’avons pas de protection d’assurance dentaire sur base individuelle pour cette catégorie de la population et sommes à réfléchir, tel que je te l’avais mentionné, sur l’ensemble des besoins de santé de cette population incluant les soins dentaires.
Nous n’avons évidemment pas encore pris la décision de développer une protection mais croyons qu’avant de prendre une telle décision, nous nous devons de connaître les besoins.
Si tu es toujorus en accord, pourrais-tu me fournir des disponibilités pour le début juillet ou me donner le nom de la personne s’occupant de ton agenda et avec laquelle nous pourrions fixer une rencontre.
Je prévoierais un dîner avec mes confrères et vous, soit toi et tes confrères, si tu le juges à propos.
Félicitation pour pour la reconnaissance que l’Association (ACDQ) t’a fait, je suis convaincu qu’elle est amplement méritée.
