Health Canada advises that Colgate-Palmolive is recalling its Colgate Motion Electric Toothbrush in response to receiving 9 incident reports from consumers associated with the use of this battery-operated electric toothbrush.

According to the incident reports, these toothbrushes have “exploded” but no incidents have resulted in any long-term injuries.

Health Canada recommends that the public do not use the Colgate Motion Electric Toothbrush. Consumers and retailers can contact Colgate-Palmolive at 1-800-268-6757 or motion@colpal.com for more information.

Colgate-Palmolive is no longer manufacturing this toothbrush and it is no longer licensed for sale in Canada.
