The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has recently been involved in the launch of 2 new ad campaigns.

The first campaign, unveiled at OSAP’s annual symposium held June 21-23 in Atlanta, Georgia, aims to raise awareness of OSAP’s brand. OSAP advocates for dental safety through dental infection prevention and safety policy development, education, research and service.

The second campaign involves a coalition of leading organizations in the field of oral health, including OSAP. The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives launched a 3-year public service ad campaign on children’s oral health, in partnership with the Ad Council. The Kids’ Healthy Mouths campaign will educate parents, caregivers and children about the importance of children’s oral health and brushing for 2 minutes twice a day.

Dentists can use the educational resources in the Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives campaign to help promote good oral health habits in young children. The ads direct viewers to www.2min2x.org where they can find additional information to help educate parents and children about children’s oral health. The website also has fun 2-minute videos that children can watch while they brush their teeth.
